Chapter 1
Welcome to your guided tour inside the mind and soul of
the man. The price of admission to these sacred places is only
that you have an open mind. Let me first express to you how important it is that you are able to read the pages and fight the
urge to say these five (5) things:
1: Not all men can be this way.
2: I don’t believe men think that way.
3: It can’t be all about that.
4: Are you sure?
5: Well not my man, he’s different.
If you find yourself thinking anything close to these thoughts
while reading and you can’t get past them, take a break and
come back refreshed and ready to tackle the issues.
A few readers had difficulty getting past the first few chapters without questioning me on things like “How did he come up
with that word?” or “Why can’t my man do that for me?” The questions were not on my opinions; instead, they grilled me on
the validity of certain words. If your mind is closed to things
you don’t understand, then no amount of advice will be able to
help you. You first have to admit that you don’t know everything about men, and that you could use help in some areas.
Based on the feedback I received from readers, I added
three more:
6: He can’t be right.
7: I need to know where he got that information from!
8: That’s not a real word, so it can’t be true.
I want to discuss as many issues and concerns as I can. One
of the awesome things about this project is that as I write,
women are continuously playing a key role by posing new
questions and situations that I feel need to be addressed. It is
my belief that what you have in your hands is the most up to
date advice for women that want to understand how the mind
of man works so she can relate with him more effectively.
